Situated on a remarkable property in Duxbury, this project addressed the evolving needs of a growing family. The existing log cabin, while full of character, was structurally compromised and unable to support an expansion. Lacking the comfort, efficiency, and performance of a modern home, the structure required significant intervention.

To fully realize the potential of the site and meet the clients’ goals, the decision was made to remove the existing building and reconstruct a new home on the original footprint—creating a residence designed for longevity, comfort, and contemporary living.
